They are very handy I use mine for grilling marinated chicken breasts.
Make sure whatever kind you get has a "floating hinge"

I love mine.
My husband and I have the smaller size one, I think it does 2 large or 4 small burgers at once.
We use it for a lot of things- burgers, hot dogs, hot pressed paninis, grilled cheese, chicken, bacon, squash, onions…. anything you would grill.
I usually have to unplug mine halfway through cooking if it is something that takes a while, like chicken, because it tends to continue heating up and the outside of the chicken will get dry while the inside has yet to cook. after I turn it off I just leave it for a few minutes to cool down, then plug it back in and let it heat up again.
It makes a really nice crust on the outside of meats.

They can be…If you live in an area with winters, and you cant grill outside you can use the foreman inside. Also if you live in an apartment it can be very helpful. When using it I see a lot of times they cook one side faster than another, so you do have to flip whateverr it is you are cooking. They do a pretty good job at cooking. If its just going to be used for one person you can get the smaller one, but if there is two or more then I suggest getting a bigger one. I use it for two people, and so it only holds two chicken breasts or burgers. I usually have two burgers or two pieces of chicken so we have to cook two, then cook another one or two so get the bigger one. Clean-up is ok, I have an older one but I think they have the ones where you can remove the grills and put them in a dishwasher. I cant remove the grills and its kind of a pain. You have to clean while its still warm and it comes off easily. On the flip side if you do it to quick its hot as hell. Overall its a good thing to have in the house. Hope this helps

if you prefer your meat to be bone dry then the george foreman grill is for you. otherwise it’s a worthless piece of dung. the only thing i use a george foreman grill for is as a sandwich press.

Mine isn’t the George Foreman brand, but basically the same thing as. Cleaning it is the biggest pain for me. I’m sure they make them where the griddle comes out and you can submerse them in soapy water, but mine isn’t.
I got mine as a Christmas gift from my mother-in-law several years ago. She used one and thought I’d like one too. Sweet of her, wasn’t it?
I’d much rather use my outdoor gas grill…I get better flavor and not much clean-up to do afterwards. But when it’s raining or -5 outside, then my griddle comes out.

I’ve got a small one, great for one or two people. Cooks quickly and the fat drains off, have used it for hamburger patties, boneless steaks, boneless chicken, fish, and even fajitas. Doesn’t heat the house or use that much energy, the one I have doesn’t have a timer, which would be helpful if I needed to step away from the kitchen.

They are great because the grill pad is angled so that the fat all drains of. We bought ours about 5 years ago and it’s the best for hamburgers, bacon, sausages and fish. It is also very easy to clean.
The George Foreman rotisserie is also great as it works on a constant heat with a timer and has rotisserie baskets as well.
I’ve personally never seen any better aside from professional (restaurant) cooking equipment.

They are! I love mine and use it constantly.
Here’s a review for them:
One of the best kitchen products on the market that will always have a use is the George Foreman Grills. Personally I have used a few different models as well as some of the "off brand" competition in this line of grills. From personal experience the knock off grills do not compare with the Foreman in usage, taste, and ease of cleaning the product. Having a Foreman Grill on the counter is a must have for those meals where one wants a quick, easy, and healthy solution for their famly.
